HopBox Brewing

Description

The HopBox project was a side project I started in my spare time to see if I could design my own brewery. I myself love craft beer, and one of my favourite things is seeing the cool can designs some breweries produce, which sparked my interest to challenge myself and see if I could do it for myself.

I ended up calling the brewery HopBox Brewing as I wanted a quick and snappy name that was clean, and sounded like a real brewery and I am very happy with my renders/designs.

The Plan

I started off with the logo, first with rough sketches and then migrated to Illustrator to properly design it. From there I started with the can designs. I wanted them to all be the same template but with different names and features, so for each can label there is the retro rainbow, and small SVG Illustrations I created that match the name. You also might have noticed they each have their very own colour palette to make each can feel unique.

After that, I took my labels into the 3D space to see what they would look like on an actual can, and I was not disappointed. I added some backgrounds and edited the renders to give them that little extra boost, and I am pleased with how everything turned out.

Software

For the logo and can designs I used mainly Illustrator and a little Photoshop to create everything. Then, for the 3D it was all done in Cinema 4D and Redshift was used to render everything out.
